The Berean School is a partnership ministry of Crossroads and The 5 Stones Fellowship designed to train men to adequately handle God's Word. The curriculum is designed to give instruction in a 8-10 week span with a one month break in between the next 8-10 week span. The Berean School curriculum includes:

  • The Role of The Holy Spirit
  • Prayer
  • Developing and Sharing Testimonies
  • Spiritual Warfare/Temptation/Discernment
  • Church Membership/Spiritual Gifts
  • Baptism/Lord's Supper
  • Training in Inductive Bible Studies

Cultivating Deep Biblical Understanding

Studies have shown over 85% of Americans identify themselves as Christian. However, according to George Barna, "too many Christians have lost sight of how the history of God's creation and His people have unfolded...this lack of biblical literacy is preventing us from reaching non-believers with the gospel message." (Barna, 1998, The Second Coming of Christ). In a society that gives mixed signals on guidelines for truth, a grasp of God's Word keeps His People holding to His Standards. The Scriptures stimulate and motivate believers to pursue Christ for direction in righteous living. Crossroads' mission is to aid believers in Christ (1) to study Scripture for comprehension (2) to study Scripture for discernment.
